Cancellation policy

Understand the conditions that apply when a traveler needs to cancel or request a change.

Your product terms come first

Cancellation eligibility varies by experience. The policy shown on the product page and accepted during checkout forms part of the booking conditions for that purchase.

1. Policy overview

Requests should be submitted as early as possible through the contact page. Include the order number, activity date, lead traveler’s name, and the requested action.

Submitting a request does not itself confirm cancellation or a refund. Wait for written confirmation of the outcome.

2. Free-cancellation products

Where a product explicitly states free cancellation up to a specified cutoff, an eligible request received before that cutoff may be refunded according to the displayed product terms.

  • Cutoffs are calculated using the activity’s local time in Rome.
  • The exact deadline shown with the booking applies.
  • Requests received after the cutoff may be non-refundable.

3. Date, time, and participant changes

Change requests depend on availability and the rules of the selected product. A new date or starting time is not guaranteed until confirmed.

If the replacement option costs more, the traveler may need to pay the difference. If it costs less, any adjustment depends on the applicable booking terms.

4. Late arrival and no-shows

Vatican entries are time-sensitive. Failure to arrive at the stated meeting time, inability to locate the meeting point after ignoring supplied instructions, or failure to bring required documents may be treated as a no-show and may not qualify for a refund.

5. Changes by the operator or venue

Operational, security, venue, or access conditions may occasionally require a change. When a material change affects a booking, FAST ITALY will communicate available alternatives or the applicable resolution.

Areas such as St. Peter’s Basilica can be affected by religious events, closures, security decisions, and other circumstances outside the operator’s control.

6. Refund processing

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Bank and payment-provider processing times vary and are outside FAST ITALY’s direct control.

Before contacting support

  • Confirm the cancellation was approved in writing.
  • Allow the stated processing period.
  • Keep the order number and payment reference available.
